HAL HAWKINS (Harold W. Hawkins, Major, USMC-Ret.) has traveled all over the world serving as a Marine aviator in the Pacific Theater in World War II, in China during the Communist/Nationalist Conflict and in Korea where he pioneered helicopter medical rescues. After retiring from the military, Hal joined Hughes Aircraft as a marketing executive and demonstration/test pilot. His many exciting assignments included leading off the Paris Air Show in 1969, representing the U.S. and Canada, where he met and flew many European dignitaries such as Prince Rainier.
Hal’s dedication to service naturally led him real estate in 1972. He owned and operated Saddleback Realty in Orange County until the early 80's when the economy forced him to change direction. He discovered Borrego Springs in 1992 and has been active in Borrego since as a painter/sculptor, as well as continuing in real estate. Hal loves people and would enjoy sharing "sea stories" with you as he helps you find the property just right for you in beautiful Borrego Valley.
ERIN HAWKINS migrated to California in 1952, fleeing from the cold, cold weather in Wisconsin. She graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.S. in Business Management. Her business travels permitted her to visit the major cities of in the U.S., Europe and Mexico, undoubtedly evaluating real estate there.
When Erin found her way to Borrego in 1993, her first job was as Property Manager at Rams Hill where she obtained her first real estate license. Later she joined Borrego Springs Bank as Corporate Secretary and Human Resources Manager. After seven years at BSB, Erin returned to real estate, joining Road Runner Realty, where she is enjoying helping her clients find the property they are seeking.
